J. Paul Anderson

J. Paul Anderson studied the violin at the Mozarteum in Salzburg, Austria with the eminent Hungarian violinist and pedagogue, Sandor Vegh. He was a member of the chamber orchestra, Camerata Salzburg and performed as a soloist with several other European chamber and symphony orchestras. In 1997, JPA moved to New York City to work as a violin restorer. After 3 years he relocated to London and became a violin salesman for J & A Beare Ltd. From 2003 to 2005, he studied violin making in the workshop of Maestro Riccardo Bergonzi in Cremona, Italy. J. Paul Anderson is Advisory Trustee to The Michael Hill International Violin Competition and Chairman of the Artistic Advisory Board to The Neustein Cultural Society, Austria. Chief consultant to the ViolinCode DNA project at the Austrian Institute of Technology.
